Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate Cares donates $2,800 to Harry Chapin Food Bank of SWFL
Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate Cares, the charitable arm of Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate, presented a donation of $2,816 to the Harry Chapin Food Bank of Southwest Florida, an independent, non-profit organization that collects, stores, and distributes food products to food relief agencies serving Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry and Lee Counties. The Food Bank is nationally affiliated with, and fully certified by, America’s Second Harvest – the Nation’s Food Bank Network. Charles Richardson, Regional Vice President of Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate, Southwest Florida; Nancy Newton, Assistant Manager, Burnt Store and Punta Gorda Offices; and Bob “Fig” Newton, Branch Manager, Burnt Store and Punta Gorda Offices, presented the check to Fred Richards, Development Director of Harry Chapin Food Bank of Southwest Florida.
“We are so thankful for the efforts that Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate has made. Our food bank provides food to over 20,000 individuals per month through one of our 140 partner agencies,” said Richards. The bank’s network includes food pantries, soup kitchens, emergency organizations, shelters, daycare centers, residential centers, rehabilitation centers, missions, and senior and youth centers and associations.
According to Richardson, “We are very proud to contribute to the Harry Chapin Food Bank because we appreciate and respect what they do in our communities and support their mission to overcome hunger in our communities through education and by working in a cooperative effort with affiliated agencies in the procurement and distribution of food, equitably and without discrimination.”
