Boil water notice for city of Cape Coral rescinded
The city of Cape Coral has received clearance from the Health Department to rescind the city-wide boil water notice the city issued on Monday.
“The City-wide boil water notice was done out of an abundance of caution, because Cape Coral follows very strict federal and state laws on monitoring water contaminants,” city officials said in a release issued at 12:40 p.m. today. “Repeat samples confirm Cape Coral city water is not contaminated, no further precautions are needed.”
