Each month, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office distributes the LCSO Animal Cruelty Task Force newsletter.

The LCSO shares it in various ways, including submission to local media outlets, to maximize circulation “so as to share our agency’s message regarding zero-tolerance for animal abuse, neglect and cruelty.”

In addition to arrests, the newsletter includes a monthly Q&A with Dr. Megan Davis from the Cape Coral Animal Shelter, adoptable pets, pet food recalls, local animal-related events, etc.
