Cape Museum of History speakers program Tuesday

Join the Cape Coral Museum of History Tuesday, May 11, from 5:30 – 7 p.m., when it hosts its second Speaker Series event of the year at Coral Ridge Funeral Home.

The speaker will be Brent Newman, chief curator for the Edison and Ford Winter Estates.

Newman’s presentation will feature Thomas Edison and his favorite invention, the phonograph. He will also be bringing a replica of Edison’s original 1877 tinfoil phonograph and will attempt to record on and playback during the presentation. 

All are welcome. RSVP encouraged. 

Please note: All talks will be held at Coral Ridge Funeral Home at 950 Chiquita Blvd., Cape Coral. for the time being to allow for proper social distancing. Masks required inside building.
