By Staff | Sep 1, 2020

Entries are being accepted for the inaugural Lee County Fair Housing Poster Contest through Sept. 30. The contest is open to students in grades 3 -5.

Lee County Human & Veteran Services is asking grade-schoolers to show what it means to be a good neighbor and create posters with themes such as supporting one another, increasing diversity and being respectful.

* Contain wording that addresses the theme.

* Measure 11 inches by 17 inches, designed horizontally.

* Be on poster paper, or board or similar material.

* Include name, grade, school and guardian’s phone number.

Materials used should be crayons, colored pencils, magic markers, paint, pastels or chalk — no glitter or glue.
