Shortly before 4 p.m. today, the Cape Coral Police Department reported that officers were on scene of a hit and run crash at the 400 block of Del Prado Boulevard, North. Northbound lanes are down to one lane of travel, being further complicated by weather conditions.

The CCPD is asking that drivers please avoid the area for the next 1-2 hours and seek an alternate route.
