Police: Cape drug dealer in jail

The Cape Coral Police Department recently took another Cape drug dealer to jail, officials reported.

The CCPD Vice, Intelligence and Narcotics Unit, with the assistance of the CCPD Street Crimes Unit, served a search warrant at 2002 N.E. Sixth St., the residence of Javier I. Guzman, 17. The search warrant was served on Jan. 13 at approximately 1:30 p.m. when they made contact with Guzman in his driveway and detained him.

The search warrant yielded 257.4 grams of marijuana and over $7,500 in U.S. currency found inside the home.

Guzman was placed under arrest for possession of Marijuana with the intent to sell and possession of drug equipment.
