Post Offices to observe Veterans Day holiday Nov. 11

Post Offices will be closed and mail will not be delivered Wednesday, Nov. 10, in observance of Veterans Day.

Consumers can avoid the hassles by visiting usps.com – the Postal Service’s website that will help make mailing and shipping easier. Nearly 75 million customers will skip the trip to the Post Office altogether and take advantage of convenient online shipping. Click-N-Ship and other online services allow customers to print shipping labels, order free Priority Mail boxes, purchase postage and even request free next-day Package Pickup.

A Contracted Postal Unit offers postal products and services at postal pricing. No surcharge is added.Retail services will be available at the following Contracted Postal Units in the Fort Myers/Cape Coral area:

– Sip & Send, 2517 Santa Barbara Blvd., Cape Coral

– SW Cape Coral, 4706 Chiquita Blvd., Cape Coral

– Sun Harvest Citrus, 14810 Metro Parkway, Fort Myers

Transportation of mail from Contract Postal Units is provided by U.S. Postal Service employees or contractors. All mail is monitored and protected by the U.S. Postal Inspection Service.

This mail will also be picked up and processed. In addition, we have our Self Service Kiosks at the following locations for your use 24/7:

– The Page Field Post Office, 2655 N. Airport Road, Fort Myers

– The Cape Coral Central Station, 1030 SE 9th Ave., Cape Coral

– The Cape Coral South Branch, 4722 SE 47th Terrace, Cape Coral
