Sheriff’ Office asking for public’s help in search for missing Pine Island woman
Lee County deputies are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Pine Island woman.
Deputies responded to 15065 4th St., in the Pink Citrus Mobile Home Park in Bokeelia, in response to a reported missing person. The complainant stated that his mother, Dagmar Burke, 54, left their residence at approximately 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 6, and has not been seen or heard from since. Burke left the residence without her cell phone and was driving a green 2000 Mercury 4 door with Florida license plate number 914NBH. Burke had her purse and ID on her, but no money and only a quarter tank of gas.
Burke has dark brown hair and hazel eyes. She’s 5 foot 4 inches tall and speaks with a heavy German accent.
