Audubon of Southwest Florida’s 12th Annual Sanibel Lighthouse Hawk Watch this Sunday
Audubon of Southwest Florida will hold its 12th Annual Sanibel Lighthouse Hawk Watch with Vince McGrath Sunday, Oct. 11, at 8 a.m.
Participants should bring a camera, field glasses, sunscreen and maybe a folding chair. Dress appropriately for the weather. There is a short walk from the parking area to the lighthouse. Facilities have been improved nice bathrooms!
The Sanibel Lighthouse Parking Lot (beach side) is at 112 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel.
Audubon welcomes members and non-members, beginner to advanced birders. This is a free event (a $5 donation would be appreciated). Parking fees apply; $3 per hour (plan on up to 4 hours) plus the $6 toll to cross the causeway.
