Four-day summer work week for school district employees
Beginning Monday, June 15, Lee County schools and district departments will operate from 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., Monday-Thursday.
By closing on Fridays, the district anticipates saving $48,000 per week during the summer months.
The summer schedule will continue through July 31.
