Runyon guest speaker at Cape Coral Friends of Wildlife meeting Oct. 14
Kerry Runyon, the Parks Superintendent for Cape Coral Parks and Recreation Department, will be the guest speaker at the Cape Coral Friends of Wildlife meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 14, at 7 p.m., at the Rotary Park Environmental Center, 5505 Rose Garden Road, Cape Coral.
Runyon’s topics will include the major shoreline improvement project at Sirenia Vista Park near Ceitus Parkway and Old Burnt Store Road where visitors can enjoy kayaking, manatee viewing, birding and fishing. Funds for the $200,000 project were provided by the Lee County Tourist Development Council and the City’s Canal Maintenance Program.
The program is free and open to the public.
