Hope HealthCare Services offering flu shots

Hope HealthCare Services is offering flu vaccinations administered by certified nurses throughout Lee and Collier counties during September, October and November.

Flu shots will be offered at multiple sites in Fort Myers, Lehigh Acres, Bokeelia, Cape Coral, Bonita Springs and Naples. Hope’s Visiting Nurses are clinically trained and certified to administer flu shots and other immunizations to adults and children ages 9 and older who weigh 66 pounds or more.Patients can select from three flu vaccination options: standard influenza, $25; high-dosage, $50; and pneumonia, $75. Vaccinations are offered at the following locations in September:

– Today, Sept. 26: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Cape Coral Elks Lodge, 4631 SE 10th Place, Cape Coral

– Today, Sept. 26: 10-11 a.m., Trinity Lutheran Church, 706 SW 6th Ave., Cape Coral

– Saturday, Sept. 27: 9 a.m. to noon, Hospice House, 1201 Wings Way, Lehigh Acres

– Sunday, Sept. 28: 9-11:30 a.m., Faith Lutheran Church, 4150 Goodlette-Frank Road, Naples

– Tuesday, Sept. 30: 5-7 p.m., Joanne’s Hospice House, 27200 Imperial Parkway, Bonita Springs

Standard Medicare Part B, Railroad Medicare and United Medicare Supplement are accepted as payment. Members of all other health plans, including HMOs and special Medicare plans, will be charged directly for services and may seek reimbursement. Cash and checks are also accepted.
