I-75 ramp closure work rescheduled
The planned ramp closures at SR 82 have been rescheduled. Originally scheduled for tonight, May 10, and Wednesday night, May 11, the work will now be done on Wednesday, May 11, and Thursday, May 12.
– I-75: From the Colonial Boulevard interchange (#136) to the Luckett Road interchange (#139): Construction project – Work is underway to six-lane the interstate. Crews are working on the bridges at the Colonial Boulevard and SR 82 interchanges Monday Friday, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting.
Overnight Wednesday, May 11. during the overnight/nighttime hours of 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., the southbound I-75 exit ramp at SR 82 (#138) will be closed for paving. Motorists must use the Luckett Road (#139) exit west to southbound Ortiz Avenue or use the Colonial Boulevard (#136) exit west to northbound Ortiz Avenue to access SR 82. The southbound exit ramp at SR 82 (#138) will reopen by 5 a.m. on Thursday morning.
Overnight Thursday, May 12. during the overnight/nighttime hours of 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., the northbound I-75 entrance ramp at SR 82 (#138) will be closed for paving. Motorists must use northbound Ortiz Road to eastbound Luckett Road to access I-75. The northbound entrance ramp at SR 82 (#138) will reopen by 5 a.m. on Friday morning.
Motorists should expect eastbound and westbound lane closures on SR 82 at the interchange between the overnight/nighttime hours of 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. for bridge work. Motorists should also expect eastbound lane closures on Colonial Boulevard at the interchange between the overnight/nighttime hours of 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for bridge deck forming. Crews continue work in the I-75 median between Colonial Boulevard and Luckett Road.
The south segment of Champion Ring Road (between Forum Boulevard and Warrior Way) is closed through June for crews to install underground drainage. Motorists must use Warrior Way to access the northern segment of Champion Ring Road.
Motorists should expect northbound and southbound lane closures on I-75 between Colonial Boulevard and Luckett Road during nighttime/overnight work from 8:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. (excluding Friday night/overnight, Saturday night/overnight and Sunday night/overnight).
