Jones receives Quality Service Pinnacle Producer Award for 2010
Barbara Watt, broker/owner of Century 21 Sunbelt Realty #1 Inc., has announced that Century 21 Real Estate LLC, recently recognized sales associate James C. Jones with the Century 21 Quality Service Pinnacle Producer Award for 2010.
“The Quality Service Pinnacle Producer Award is an integral part of the Century 21 system’s commitment to excellence and recognizes Jim’s dedication to making each and every client interaction a positive one,” said Rick Davidson, president and CEO of Century 21 Real Estate LLC.
The annual award is based on results from the Century 21 Quality Service Survey which is e-mailed to consumers immediately after the purchase or sale of a home through a Century 21 System office.
To earn the Century 21 Quality Service Pinnacle Producer Award, an agent must receive completed customer surveys for at least 30 percent of their transactions from Jan. 1, 2010, to Oct. 31, 2010, with an average survey score of at least 95 percent or better for 2 consecutive years.
Jones will receive a customized glass trophy, in addition to being recognized at the Century 21 International Convention. He has been a licensed Realtor since 2006, he also won the 2009 Century 21 Quality Service Award.

Pine Island’s Calusa Ridge acquired by local developer
Premier Properties of Cape Coral has acquired the controlling interest in the Calusa Ridge community located at 12401 Stringfellow Road in Bokeelia.
Premier Properties, developers of Celebration Cape located in Cape Coral, plans to offer 1-plus-acre homesites from $ 39,900 – $ 59,900-plus with underground utilities including water, electric, phone, cable and irrigation system in placed and paid for with no assessments or CDD fees.

Greater Fort Myers Area home buyers take advantage of open house weekend
Buyers offered the convenience of touring dozens of homes for sale during the statewide open house weekend March 26-27 signed purchase contracts for 427 single-family homes and 137 townhouses and condos according to the Realtor Association of Greater Fort Myers and the Beach Inc.
“This event was extremely successful in giving our members a chance to match buyers to their sellers,” said Gary Verwilt, association president.
“Our members have been selling over 1,000 single-family homes each month during the past year; to have 427 single-family homes go to contract in one weekend indicated that many additional buyers took advantage of this excellent opportunity to tour dozens of homes in one weekend, not only saving time but also gas,” he added.
The Florida Open House Weekend took place a month earlier this year to draw seasonal visitors and local residents.
With affordable prices and low interest rates, potential buyers took advantage of the market conditions making the decision to purchase a home in the Greater Fort Myers area.
