The focus of the enhanced patrols is to educate the public on the dangers of drunk driving, reduce the likelihood impaired drivers will operate vehicles and remove impaired drivers from area roads
This and other increased patrol operations are scheduled as part of the Fort Myers Police Department’s strategic plan and on-going efforts to make the roadways safer and to remove intoxicated drivers from local roadways.
