Team wins first Quest for Red
With one phone call to “Clara Barton,” the winning team of Goldstein, Buckley, Cechman Rice & Purtz PA solved the final puzzle, winning the first ever Quest for Red.
The Quest for Red is a unique event which sends map-bearing participants searching for answers to clues spread around downtown Fort Myers.
With an average team size of eight, 31 teams descended on Centennial Park for the first clue at 2 p.m., Sunday Nov. 1.
“I thought the clues were very challenging, but overall it was a lot of fun walking around the city trying to figure them out,” said winning team captain Brian Zinn. “I thought the clues were very cleverly done and it was great being able to stand up on the stage with my team, especially with the kids who spent several hours walking around on a hot day. The prizes were great and it was a lot of fun.”
The first place team included Brian, Noah and Alyssa Zinn, Michelle Drumm, Gary, Linda, Sean and Jonathan Sauer, Kristin Caile and Matt, Justin and Ashley Singer.
The 2010 Quest for Red has already been scheduled for Oct. 24, 2010.
