New traffic pattern on Santa Barbara Boulevard
Starting Monday, Nov. 2, southbound lanes on Santa Barbara Boulevard between S.W. 28th Terrace and Gleason Parkway will be opened back up to traveling motorists. Motorists are asked to proceed with caution as there will be intermittent day time lane closures as construction crews complete the medians and landscaping at various locations.
Advance warning signs, electronic message boards, and barricades will be used to direct motorists traveling through the area. The posted speed limit is 35 mph while traveling through the work zone. Motorists are urged to use caution and to seek alternate routes whenever possible. Weather and unforeseen circumstances could affect the construction schedule and may cause delays.
