FMPD arrest three following Crime Stoppers tip
On Wednesday, Sept. 23, the Fort Myers Police Department conducted a search warrant at 1431 Markland Ave. The initial investigation reportedly stemmed from a Crime Stoppers tip and police arrested three people at that address.
Those arrested included: Hugh Johnston, 55, who was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school and possession of controlled substance without prescription; Tekia Stedman, 32, was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school and possession of controlled substance without prescription; and
Jermaine Kennedy, 26, who was charged with possession of controlled substance without prescription.
According to reports, police seized one shotgun, 65 grams of marijuana, Xanax pills, Tylenol with codeine pills, drug paraphernalia and $1,170 in cash.
