FMPD charges five with drug possession
Tuesday the Fort Myers Police Department conducted a search warrant at 3702 Madison Ave. Five people at that location were charged with drug possession.
According to the FMPD, those arrested (and the charges) included Kortne Sturgis, 19, possession of cocaine; James Peterson, 23, possession of cocaine; Kayla Boyd, 18, possession of cocaine with intent to sell and possession of marijuana with intent to sell; Brian Sturgis, 24, possession of cocaine with intent to sell and possession of marijuana with intent to sell; and
Brittany Marchese, 20, possession of marijuana (more than 20 grams).
At the scene, police reportedly recovered nine grams of crack cocaine, 17 grams of powder cocaine and 69 grams of marijuana and approximately $1,000 in cash.
