Cape Coral resident appointed to Child Care of Southwest Florida’s board of directors

Cape Coral resident Karen Miller of HSA Engineers & Scientists has been appointed to the board of directors for Child Care of Southwest Florida.

Miller is a regional manager for marketing and recruitment and has been with HSA and its affiliates for more than 10 years. She has a B.S. in elementary education with a concentration in early childhood education. Prior to entering the field of environmental marketing, she was a teacher for more than 10 years in both private and public institutions.

Child Care of Southwest Florida Inc. is a private non-profit organization that provides high quality child care for children from infancy through age 16 at its eight centers throughout Lee and Hendry counties. In addition, the agency provides training for early childhood educators and administers the federal food program for child care centers and family child care homes.

HSA Engineers & Scientists employs a staff of more than 250 engineers and environmental professionals in offices in Fort Myers, Tampa and throughout the southeastern United States.
