Florida Housing Help workshop Sept. 16
Florida Housing Help, a program designed to educate and assist families facing foreclosure, will be held Wednesday, Sept. 16, from 5-8 p.m., at the Joseph P. D’Allesandro Office Complex, 2295 Victoria Drive, Fort Myers.
The community outreach program is sponsored by the Financial Action Team and the Department of Financial Services, which is under the direction of Alex Sink, chief financial officer for the state of Florida.
The workshop, which is open to the public, will include resources to create a household budget and opportunities to meet with HUD-certified housing counselors.
