Sun Splash offering special rates next week
Sun Splash Family Waterpark is offering special local resident pricing during the week of Aug. 17-23, which is the week before Lee County public schools resume for the year and the last week this season Sun Splash is open seven days a week.
“We want everyone to pull out their swimsuits and head to Sun Splash for one final week of fun in the sun before the kids head back to school,” said Annette Figueroa, waterpark manager. “Although we will be open through mid-October on weekends, this is the last chance for guests to enjoy Sun Splash during the week, so we hope they will take advantage of the opportunity and the reduced prices.”
During the week of Aug. 17-23, Cape Coral residents will pay only $8 plus tax for admission and Lee County residents will pay $10 plus tax. Proof of residency will be required to receive the special rates. Tickets are normally as much as $12.95 for Cape Coral residents and $16.95 for non-residents. The park is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. all week.
Sun Splash will remain open weekends through Oct. 18. Park hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The park will also be open on Labor Day, Sept. 7, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sun Splash Family Waterpark is Southwest Florida’s largest waterpark with more than 14 acres of slides, pools, food and fun for all ages. It is located at 400 Santa Barbara Blvd., just 2.5 miles north of Veterans Parkway in Cape Coral, Fla., and is open March through October. Sun Splash is owned and operated by the city of Cape Coral Parks Recreation Department.
