Hammel displaying art in Hall’s office

Lee County Commissioner Tammy Hall continues to support local artists by giving them an opportunity to display their artwork in her Fort Myers office.

This month, David Lee Hammel is displaying his artwork in Hall’s downtown Fort Myers office. The display includes original wood carvings and pottery. This month’s theme is wildlife and “pop art,” and the works will be on display until Sept. 7. The public is welcome to view the artwork and learn more about the artist. Please call 533-2226 to confirm hours for viewing artwork. All artwork is for sale.

Commissioner Hall’s office is on the first floor of the Old County Courthouse, 2120 Main St., Fort Myers. Office hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
