‘Staying Healthy’ classes begin Aug. 17
Lee Memorial Health System is partnering with Literacy Volunteers of Lee County to provide “Staying Healthy” classes in Cape Coral. These classes will be offered to those adults who have intermediate English speaking and reading skills. The goal is to help participants learn how to acquire information and resources that will help them navigate the medical system and make informed health decisions.
The classes are free and will be held at the Cape Coral United Way House, 1105 Cultural Park Blvd., Cape Coral, on Mondays and Wednesdays, Aug. 17 to Nov. 11, from 9-10:30 a.m.
Registration for the classes will be held on Monday, Aug. 17, and Wednesday, Aug. 19, at 9 a.m. Class size is limited, so be sure to call 239-242-4374 to hold your spot or for more information.
