Southwest 6/7 back on council agenda
The city utilities expansion project for Southwest 6/7 will once again be addressed by the Cape Coral CIty Council after the board today agreed to discuss the work and approved placing the item on the agenda for its Aug. 31 meeting.
Councilmember Dolores Bertolini brought the issue up for discussion again this afternoon, and the council OK’d the plan to address SW 6/7 by a 4-2 vote. Councilmembers Eric Grill and Pete Brandt voted against the proposal and Mayor Jim Birch abstained. Councilmember Bill Deile was absent.
The city will once again send out public notice for input at the Aug. 31 meeting.
