Sheriff’s West District Office to move Monday
On Monday, June 29, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Charlie (West) District Office, located at 17105 F-1, San Carlos Boulevard, Fort Myers, will be closed to the public while office personnel and technical support staff complete the move to a brand new county facility. The new District Office will be open for citizen walk-ins Tuesday, June 30. It’s located at 15650 Pine Ridge Road in Fort Myers.
All phone calls made to Charlie District on Monday will be forwarded to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Headquarters. They will be direct to the new office on Tuesday. The phone numbers and extensions will not change.
Criminal investigation services will not be hampered during the move. The new office is a part of a county government complex designed to provide for the needs of the fire department and tax collector.
Members of Charlie District have been in the temporary location at Summerlin Square since September 2006 when a roof collapse forced the closure of the office site located on San Carlos Boulevard, near the entrance of Cinnamon Cove.
