Broadway Palm seeking art for upcoming season

Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre is looking for artwork in various mediums to display in conjunction with the theatre’s 17th season schedule, which runs Aug. 13, 2009 through Aug. 7, 2010.

Each exhibition will run approximately six to eight weeks in unison with one of Broadway Palm’s 17th Season productions. They include: “Married Alive” (Aug. 13 Sept. 26, 2009), “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels” (Oct. 1 Nov. 14, 2009), “A Christmas Carol” (Nov. 19 Dec. 26, 2009), “George M!” (Dec. 31 Feb. 14, 2010), “The King and I” (Feb. 18 April 10, 2010), “Ring of Fire” (April 15 June 5, 2010) and “Footloose” (June 10 Aug. 7, 2010).

To be considered for an exhibit at Broadway Palm send in or e-mail three jpeg samples of your art for consideration. Sample art can be e-mailed to: Tickets@broadwayPalm.com. In addition to individual Southwest Florida artists, local art organizations and school groups are welcome for consideration.

The Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre is a multi-function entertainment facility and the subject matter may be reviewed for appropriateness. Exhibition pieces are limited to 56 inches in any direction and the weight of each piece must be manageable and ready for hanging with wire, a pedestal or some type of support.
