Kottkamp called to Tallahassee
Lt. Gov. Kottkamp has been called to Tallahassee unexpectedly, therefore will not be attending today’s SustainabLEE meeting at 2 p.m. Kottkamp was expected to address continuing to grow the “clean energy economy” in Florida, now that the much sought after governor’s energy bill was defeated in the House of Representatives a few weeks ago.
The intent of the SustainabLEE meetings is to serve as a catalyst for businesses, government and individuals to transition to more sustainable policies, practices and conscientious lifestyles based on the belief that the health of our environment, economy and community go hand in hand. Carbon Credits for local government and municipalities is part of the agenda too.
The meeting, set for 2-4:30 p.m., will be held at Riverside Community Park, 3061 Riverside Drive, Fort Myers.
