National Salvation Army Week celebrated through outreach and training
The local Salvation Army will be celebrating National Salvation Army Week by treating its partner agencies to lunch. The Army canteen will be serving lunch to employees of each agency not only as a community outreach but also as a training exercise in our disaster preparedness plan.
The schedule includes:
Monday, May 11, noon – United Way, 7273 Concourse Drive
Tuesday, May 12, noon – The Salvation Army (Red Shield Lodge), 2400 Edison Aveue
Wednesday, May 13, noon – Emergency Operations Center, 2665 Ortiz Aven.
Thursday, May 14, noon – Lee County Human Services, 2400 Thompson St. (south side of bldg on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard)
Friday, May 15, noon – The Salvation Army (Administration Offices), 10291 McGregor Blvd.
