Benefit concert Sunday at The Joint
On Sunday May 3, Steve Luongo, formerly of The John Entwhistle Band, will host a concert at The Joint in Cape Coral. The event will benefit programs and treatments at Lee Memorial Health System’s new Regional Cancer Center.
Chefs Todd Johnson of Rumrunners and Fabrice Deletrain of The Joint will partner with Luongo on the event and will treat concert guests to a fantastic culinary experience.
The benefit concert event features a rock ‘n’ roll and celebrity-themed silent auction with not to be missed hand-signed items from Ozzy Osborne, James Taylor, The Dave Matthews Band, Ringo Starr and Jerry Garcia. The crme de la crme of the auction will be two tickets to see Bruce Springsteen & The E. Street Band in concert at an upcoming Washington, D.C., appearance.
The event takes place from 4-7 p.m. at The Joint, located at 5785 Cape Harbour Drive in Cape Coral. The TJ Kelly Band will open the evening festivities and closing out the event will be Luongo, joined by special friends from the music business.
Also making the scene will be Miami Dolphins Star, Jim “Crash” Jensen lending his support to the cause.
Tickets are $50, which includes the concert, open bar of beer and wine and the culinary feast. Lower-priced tickets are also available if guests only want to enjoy cocktails during the concert.
