The city of Cape Coral will dedicate its newest park Thursday, April 30, at 5 p.m. Rosen Park is located east of the intersection at Southeast 24th Avenue and Southeast 15th Terrace. The park is on the north side of Chantry Canal a canal with direct access to the Caloosahatchee River. The address of the park is 2414 S.E. 15th Terrace.

Rosen Park is named after the developers of Cape Coral – Jack and Leonard Rosen. The two men purchased “Redfish Point” in 1957 – the land that would become “Cape Coral.” In 1958, they began digging canals and developing the community.

The 14-acre park features a new boat launch facility, three picnic shelters, restrooms and a waterfront boardwalk along the canal.

The public is invited to attend.
