Junior League of Fort Myers makes donation to LMHS
Lee Memorial Health System Foundation today announced that it has received a $5,000 grant from The Junior League of Fort Myers. The grant funding will go to support female cancer patients’ participation in yoga, therapeutic journaling and creative art classes at Lee Memorial Health System’s new Regional Cancer Center.
The Junior League of Fort Myers grant dollars will specifically go to benefit women experiencing financial hardship through the purchase of 20 yoga mats, blocks and stretching belts, as well as journals and art supplies. The funds will also be used to provide aid to indigent women whose only barrier to taking the yoga, journaling and art classes is financial.
