Young Artists Awards Seminar at the Alliance for the Arts
On Saturday, April 25, the Young Artists Awards program, in conjunction with the Lee County Alliance for the Arts, is hosting a free seminar for students ages 8-21 in the performing arts from throughout Southwest Florida.
The seminar will feature a panel of seven experts in the areas of dance, drama, voice (classical and contemporary), musical theatre and instrumental music, sharing their expertise and information on how to further your education and careers in the performing arts. There will be a group discussion, question and answer session, and the opportunity to speak individually with our panelists. Information about scholarship opportunities will also be shared and door prizes will be awarded.
The event runs from 1-3 p.m. and is free to the public; however, because of space and time limitations, please RSVP by April 23 to Young Artists Awards by calling 239-574-9321 or by emailing Director@youngartistsawards.org.
The Alliance for the Arts supports the artists and arts organizations in our area as the state designated Local Arts Agency for Lee County. The Alliance for the Arts galleries are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Saturdays, and are located at 10091 McGregor Boulevard, just south of Colonial Boulevard.
