iROX work to force temporary lane closure
As part of the ongoing iROX I-75 Road Expansion Project to six-lane the interstate from Golden Gate Parkway interchange #105 in Collier County to Colonial Boulevard interchange #136 in Lee County, ramp work starting at 8 p.m., Sunday, March 1, and continuing through March 12 will require the closure of the left turn lane from westbound Immokalee Road onto the southbound ramp to I-75 at the Immokalee Road interchange (exit #111).
The left turn lane will remain closed until the completion of work; however, motorists eastbound on Immokalee Road still can enter the southbound ramp onto I-75.
Motorists may travel south on alternate routes such as Collier Boulevard or Livingston Road to access southbound I-75 at the Pine Ridge Road interchange (exit #107).
Motorists are urged to use caution in the construction zones.
