Blades’ Bouchard latest to get call to AHL
Florida Everblades forward Danick Bouchard has been called up to the Albany River Rats of the American Hockey League, the team reported Friday.
It’s the second time Bouchard has been summoned by the River Rats, where the 22-year-old rookie played in one game last season.
Bouchard has garnered 22 points (13 goals, 9 assists) in 31 games with the Everblades this season and leads the team in game-winning goals with five. The latter mark leads all rookies in the league.
The Everblades are in action Friday night when they host the Mississippi Sea Wolves at Germain Arena.
