FMPD arrests two in drug bust

At 11 a.m. today, the Fort Myers Police Department’s Special Investigations Group served a search warrant at a residence located at 770 Cayce Lane. The investigation stemmed from complaints from the neighborhood.

During the bust, police seized one semi-automatic handgun, two AK-47-style assault rifles, a bulletproof vest, 400 grams of marijuana, two grams of cocaine and over $2,000 in cash.

The following two individuals were arrested at the residence:

– Jeremiah Bland, 25, was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of cocaine with intent to sell and possession of marijuana with intent to sell.

– Dorothy Bland, 46, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana (less than 20 grams).
