BSSW Architects hires Sweeting as marketing director
BSSW Architects has hired Laura Sweeting as its marketing director to manage all communications, public relations, advertising and social media.
In this role, Sweeting also leads the firm’s request for qualification (RFQ) process, which includes researching and analyzing opportunities, drafting proposals, developing graphics and coordinating communications. Additionally, Sweeting is responsible for developing a comprehensive strategic marketing plan, conceptualizing and designing digital and printed collateral, and redesigning the firm’s website.
Sweeting previously served as marketing manager for a Southwest Florida-based construction company. Prior roles included marketing coordinator for an architectural firm and marketing administrator for a real estate company.
Sweeting is a licensed real estate agent and notary public.

New apartment project coming to the Forum in Fort Myers
MK Architecture has been awarded the architectural and engineering services for a new multi-family development to be located in the Forum in Fort Myers. Kaizen Companies of Duluth, Minnesota, will develop the Flats at the Forum, a five-story, 107-unit apartment building with one- and two-bedroom units, with a full amenity package and resort-style pool. The project is anticipated to be under construction by the end of 2023.
