Tickets on sale for Breeze ‘80’s Ladies Night’
Want to turn back the clock for an evening of fun, frills and fashion?
Breeze Newspapers will present 80’s Ladies Night on Oct. 6 at 6 p.m. at Palmetto-Pine Country Club where all things retro are front and center.
Attendees will be treated to an entertaining night of shopping, dancing, singing, hors d’oeuvres and drinks.
Ladies are encouraged to bring a pal for some “girl time” and enjoy an ’80s-themed costume contest, karaoke, and door prizes.
“We feel the newspaper is a great connector in the community, and after almost three years of not having events in person, it was time,” said Breeze Newspapers Advertising Director Laurie Ragle. “This event will be fun and one that allows people to interact with each other as well as area small business vendors.”
The evening will feature a fashion show presented by Eva By the Sea and The Looke (both located at the Marina Village Shops at Tarpon Point) as well as Dave Byron Music “spinning” the hits from the ’80s.
Each attendee will also get a swag bag with fun items from the vendors and other businesses in Cape Coral.
One lucky lady will go home with a three-day, two-night travel package, and a $100 prize for the lady with the best ’80s attire.
“All we want is for people to have fun, shop, and maybe make new friends,” Ragle said. “The music will bring us all back to our youth.”
Tickets are available for sale at Brownpapertickets.com by searching for “80’s Ladies.”
Tickets are $30 in advance until Sept. 27 and $35 until event day ($40 at door).
The Breeze also is welcoming a few more vendors to set up at the event. Call Ragle at 239-574-3403 or lragle@breezenewspapers.com for details.
Palmetto-Pine Country Club is at 1940 Southwest 9th Court in Cape Coral.
