Beekeeper to speak at next CCFW meeting

Beekeeper Ben Giddins

Beekeeper Ben Giddins will be the featured speaker for the Cape Coral Friends of Wildlife meeting Tuesday, Nov. 9, at Rotary Park and via Zoom. He started keeping bees in Australia in the 1990s,

Giddins currently has several registered beehives at his home, and will be expanding with additional hives located at the nearby Pascha’s Preserve on Oasis Boulevard in Cape Coral, where he will be providing pollination services for the local community. He is also actively involved in endeavors such as native plant propagation, tree planting and mangrove restoration efforts.

He lives with his wife and two children in Cape Coral.
