‘Tween Waters Island Resort & Spa recently announced its first ‘Tweenies Weekend Concert Series of the year, featuring local native and NBC “The Voice” contestant Sheena Brook.

Open to resort guests and the public, the event will take place Saturday, May 15, at 7:30 p.m. on the resort’s private beach. Tickets are $10 in advance or $20 day of at the door for the public. Guests who book a resort stay for two or more nights will obtain free tickets based on the following:

n Two tickets for guest room, studios, cottage studios, one-bedroom cottages and king suites

n Four tickets for one-bedroom queen suites, two-bedroom suites and two-bedroom cottages

n Six tickets for three-bedroom suites and cottages

“We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to host Sheena at our beach venue,” Sanibel Captiva Beach Resorts Chief Executive Officer Doug Babcock said. “Our goal is to provide a fun-filled, safe venue for our lineup of entertainment in 2021 — and our private beach is the perfect setting, as Sheena entertains us for two hours of great live music while the sun sets. It should be an awesome and beautiful evening.”

Brook is from Fort Myers, attending Mariner High School in Cape Coral and Southwest Florida Christian Academy in Fort Myers. She appeared on “The Voice” in 2017 on celebrity singer Adam Levine’s team. Her renditions of Pink’s “Try” and Sugarland’s “Baby Girl” made her a favorite with judges and viewers.

CDC recommended protocols will be followed on May 15.
