Midwest Food Bank distributes over 2,200 turkeys for holiday meals
Over the last two weeks Midwest Food Bank, Florida, warehouse has been working hard to distribute over 2,200 turkeys to the local community, ensuring families in need have a delicious meal in time for the Thanksgiving season.
Donating 250 turkeys to nonprofit partner agency St Matthews House, and 350 to St. Vincent de Paul Church, 350 to Tice United Methodist Church, 200 to Iglesia el Evangelio de Cristo and 150 to The Salvation Army, in addition to 12 other nonprofit partner agencies.
Supporting over 169 partner agencies in 32 counties in Florida, the Florida team is dedicated to their mission efforts of bringing food and joy in times of struggle.
Midwest Food Bank has 11 locations, including eight in the U.S., and one each in East Africa and Haiti.
