Hernandez to speak at Cape MOAA meeting Nov. 14

The Cape Coral Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America will hold its Nov. 14 meeting at the Cape Royal Golf Club, 11460 Royal Tee Circle, Cape Coral, at 10 a.m.

Cape Coral City Manager Rob Hernandez will be the featured speaker. He is a 23-year veteran of the U.S. Army Reserve.

All current, former and retired military officers and spouses are invited to attend. The cost for the breakfast is $12, payable at the door (cash only). Reservations are requested by Thursday, Nov. 12, and may be made by contacting Dixie Buick at 945-5050 or via email at calusamoaa@yahoo.com.

The MOAA chapter will hold its 4th annual golf tournament at the Cape Royal Golf Club on March 6, 2021. The proceeds will benefit Lee County ROTC student scholarships.

MOAA is a national organization of military officers that supports the interests of military members of all ranks — past, present and future. Regular membership is open to all current and former officers, and associate membership is available to all who support our armed forces.
