Two charged after armed robbery at Cape convenience store

On Monday, Jan. 12, at 12:06 a.m., officers with the Cape Coral Police Department responded to the 7-Eleven convenience store at 1540 Andalusia Blvd, Cape Coral, in reference to an armed robbery in progress where a male brandished a handgun, grabbed cash and fled. Based on the circumstances, the Violent Crimes Unit was notified and assumed the investigation. According to a report from the CCPD, during the investigation, a white four-door Chevrolet Malibu was identified as being involved in the robbery and potential suspects were developed.
